White Man Beaten And Robbed By Three Black Men In D.C.: “This Is For Trayvon Martin!”

Yeah let all the colored people kill and rob white folks and we will say its for trayvon martin . Dont they know how bad they make colored people look. They are their own race worst enemy. The other way around would also be a disgrace. And if trayvon martin would like whats going on right now then what do that say about him?

I want to be a warrior.

White house down, Black hawk down, thin red line, Gladiator, brave heart, where eagles dare. You may have seen one or two of these movies or at least heard about them.
What about books about Lord Nelson or general lee or Grant.
Why do we be drawn to these types of real stories, is it because we have dreamed of being a fearless warrior or a soldier as a kid?
I have even heard wonderful sermonettes on Rokes ridge where 4000  warriors of the Zulu attacked only a hand full of British at rorkes ridge in Africa but because of warrior like character defied all odds.
It’s almost like it’s in our DNA to want to be a tough, rough, fearless, righteous God fearing warriors or soldiers.
Today’s society has lost all knowledge of what a warrior or solider is. Spiderman, wolverine, batman you name it have skewed the meaning of a hero.
What is a warrior?  The dictionary definition is    esp. in former times) A brave or experienced soldier or fighter.

Why do we read and teach our children stories like, David and goliath, Gideon, Samson the list go on and on? Could it be that we want our children to grow up to be a Christian soldier for God. Joel 3:10. 10 Beat your ploughshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
I like the living translation for this it says hammer your ploughshares into swords
    and your pruning hooks into spears.
    Train even your weaklings to be warriors.
Don’t we want our children to be die hards for Gods way of life? Of course we do.

We are all called to be soldiers whether we like it or not. We may not go out and enlist in the army but we are fighting never the less.
The battle we are in makes rorkes ridge look like a snowball fight.
Because we are Gods soldiers we have to do things his way. We have to want the same things,to be of one mind with him. What God owns we are to defend and fight for with all our might? Things like the Sabbath, holidays, each other, even all the principles in the bible. Mr Proproki gave a speech about people dying for the bible; I consider them Christian soldiers don’t you. Traditional family is worth fighting for because it’s Godly.  A warrior defends people, property or ideals. That’s what we are to do when it comes to Gods way of life.
When we we converted we had strongholds to tear down,then we built godly strongholds that satan wants to tear down but we are to defend, we have an enemy that’s stronger then we are and smarter but we also have a commander that we follow that’s the greatest warrior of all. Turn to ex 15:3
New king James says    The Lord is a man of war;
The Lord is His name.
NLT SAYS the Lord is a warrior;
    Yahweh[a] is his name

SO WITH God calling the shots we can win and win big.
Like rorkes ridge we can be outnumbered, out flanked and fighting on foreign soil but we have our orders.
We are to fight the good fight, tighten our grip on the word of God and charge forward the same way our commander Jesus did.
We are to overcome the enemy.
Revelation 3:21
Christian Standard Bible (©2009)
The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne.
There are times I wonder if i’m gaining ground at all, in fact I have thought of giving up, but I come to church or talk to a brother on the phone and i’m renewed again ready for another fight.
We sometimes feel that it’s a losing battle and our burdens are to great and were just to tired, that’s when our fellow brother can lend a hand ,after all we share each others burdens right.
So I can use all the help I can get to overcome the enemy, I know I am to overcome and not be overcome. There are to be many many battles some we win some we lose but the war we will win and we will be victorious. Do i want to be a warrior? You bet i do. How can we sing the hymn we sing from time to time about soldiers and not be encouraged to be,
Onward Christian soliders.
